Crack Filling
Seal the cracks before they spread — the cheapest repair in asphalt.
Stop a crack before it's a pothole
An open crack is a doorway. Water runs straight down into the base, every rain works the crack a little wider, and weeds and grass start pushing up through the gap. Left alone, a hairline crack turns into a pothole — and a cheap fix becomes an expensive one.
We clean the cracks out and fill them with hot-applied rubberized filler that bonds, flexes with the asphalt, and locks water out. It's the single cheapest thing you can do to add years to a driveway or lot.
- Hot-applied filler that bonds and flexes
- Seals water out of the base
- Stops weeds and grass through the cracks
- Keeps small cracks from spreading
- Best done right before sealcoating
- Driveways and parking lots
Common questions
Why fill cracks at all?
An open crack lets water under the surface, and that's what turns a crack into a pothole. Filling early keeps the base dry and stops the damage cheap.
Do you fill before sealcoating?
Yes — cracks get filled first, then we seal over the top so the repair is locked in and the whole surface is protected.
How big a crack can you fill?
Hairline up to about a half-inch is ideal for crack fill. Wider than that, or an area that's broken up, usually needs patching instead — we'll tell you straight which it is.
